From this unit I learned different methods and techniques such as grammar translation, PPP, and community language learning that can be used in order to achieve the best results when teaching a language. I have also gained insight on the \"straight arrow\" and \"Boomerang\" versions of the Engage-Study-Activate methodology.This unit talked about the kinds of lessons and teaching methods used. It showed teacher's which kind of lesson is acceptable for different levels of students. This unit taught me how many different types of lessons how could teach my future students, how to be an effective teacher, and when to correct a student's mistakes.
