This unit focused on the course material available to ESL teachers to purchase or create. I recalled utilizing course books in my own second language education in High School and was interesting to dissect the pros and cons of the books. It was also nice to see examples of activity sheets that could be presented to students.I learnt to manage a class to ensure a positive, effective learning environment. This module shows many ways to achieve this. There are good ideas mentioned on how to ensure the students are learning quickly and have the confidence to correct each other. It explores very well the dynamics of the student/teacher relationship.
