The house/furniture vocabulary example was very good! I can see how it could be used for so many lessons. So far in the course, I noticed a lot of 'slicing and dicing' of terms (usage/function, for example)that add a lot of complexity to the TEFL concept. Not sure it has to be as complex as the course material has presented.This unit has given me advice for the first lesson of teaching a class. It has shown me how to build a rapport with students by using various word games such as hangman and pictionary. This unit has also allowed me to prepare my first lesson. It has given me the opportunity to come up with some ideas to use in my first lesson.
