The chapter teaches on potential problems that may arise with first-time teachers, large groups and listening skills. I believe that the content discussed has been condensed and summarized for the purpose of this training. I may not truly understand how to deal with the issues mentioned until I am actually inside the classroom.During this unit I learned about classroom management and what kind of behavior and set up might contribute to the most functional classroom. I found it interesting to learn more about the role of the teacher in an ESL classroom and how much independence to give the students and in order to give them the best chance of success.
