This unit gives an overview of how tenses and their importance as one of the most challenging aspects of learning English. This unit taught the four present tenses. For present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous, I learned how to structure the affirmative, negative, and question forms, the tenses? usage, and common errors associated with each. This unit also presented several examples of common errors for each to practice identifying and correcting. Finally, this unit included suggestions for teaching activities for each tense such as role playing job interviews for the present perfect tense.
