This section covers the usage of material whether it be authentic (newspapers, poems, songs, etc) and how it can provide real world examples of language targeted directly towards the interests of the students. This material can be useful however needs to be carefully selected due to the fact that it is not directly graded to the level of students skills and abilities. Created material however can be graded to students skills but is more abstract. This none the less allows the teacher to create targeted material that focuses on the educational objectives of the classrooms. For example, crosswords or word puzzles, role play activities etc.
