This unit provided a general overview of what to expect in this course. My previous TEFL experience has been teaching basic grammar and everyday English to junior and senior high school students in Japan. I feel this course will be a great way to introduce me to teaching Business English and to open up new opportunities in the future. I have had Japanese friends who are working professionals ask me to teach them English that would help them work with English speaking clients. In addition to job prospects, I hope through this course to gain the confidence to help my friends, as well as others, to use English in a professional setting.
