Unit 15 covered the topic of evaluation and testing. The material presented a variety of means and purposes for testing students to help both the student and the teacher understand progress, and areas that need further reinforcement in their language learning. There was also a fair amount of material covering already existing standardized testing which could potentially be helpful in understanding what to help a student prepare for. I appreciated the sample test example to help me also further understand means and methods to evaluate what is required from me in part to help the students to succeed, and also how to assess their ability.
