This unit covered the different types of equipment and teaching aids that are usually used in the classroom. Though some of the equipment included are not as commonly used these days (such as OHPs and cassette tapes/recorders/players), the information was still useful to me. However, as outdated as some of these materials are, I understand that some schools (particularly in the countryside) will not have access to newer technology. Having a background knowledge of what other equipment we can use is helpful, especially in the case of not having said newer technology (due to budget restrictions and so on), or in case of technology failure.
