Unit 6 covered the teacher?s Professional Development. The topics were cultural issues while teaching abroad, seeking, applying and keeping a teacher job, professional associations for ESL teacher, additional qualifications, etc. I learned about the importance to research the country where a teacher wants to work, to avoid behaviour mistakes, which can be very embarrassing for the students and/or the teacher and can cost the job. It is very important to respect different cultures. I really like the resume sampler and the useful tips for teaching young learners, which do not belong into the age groups we went through the whole course
