The Troubleshooting unit was excellent and answered many of my questions, such as how to handle a first lesson with both a new and existing group. Doing things like establishing rapport and finding out the English level of each class member are two things which I have learned to do. I am excited to use warmers like Hangman, Pictionary and tongue twisters as fun communicative activities to get students interested and motivated to learn the language. I also learned a number of ways to deal with the situation of when I will have a group of varying levels. I will employ a variety of tactics such as pairing stronger students with weaker ones.
