This unit teaches the basics of English grammar from the ground up. It teaches the common English sentence structure and the parts that it is made up of. While studying this unit, I realized that I was unfamiliar with a lot of the terminology in English grammar, even though I could feel what sentences were awkward, or wrong. For example, when learning about uncountable nouns, the reading says that you cannot say, \"I don't have many money.\" That obviously sounds wrong to me, but I did not know the real reason why. If a student were to ask me to explain that to them, prior to reading this unit, I might have had a hard time answering them.
