I learned the importance of evaluating students progress and levels and how I can go about doing so. By evaluating students, the feedback is not only helpful so that they know how well they are doing or what they need to improve but it can also help me identify what I need to improve if there are certain patterns in the areas in which students are having difficulty or trouble. I thought it was particularly helpful to learn about the different kinds of tests that are given at different stages. It was particularly interesting to learn about progress tests because this can let me know as a teacher what needs more work during the school year.
