This chapter is about the different types of Conditionals and reported speech patterns. There are different types of Conditionals, Zero, First, Second, Third, and Mixed. Each one has the If clause with main clause that explains an outcome. Zero conditionals represent a predictive fact. First conditional represent a possible outcome, if a criteria has been met. The Second conditional represents a hypothetical situation that is not presently occurring. The Third conditional refers to a hypothetical past action. Mixed conditionals are a little more complicated; they represent a hypothetical past action and a hypothetical present outcome.
