Since starting this course I have spent a lot of time looking at resources materials in books shops and not knowing which would be the most suitable. This Unit was very useful in they way it guided us through the collection of resources and materials, and not to rely on them completely. It has given me a much clearer idea when choosing suitable materials, that they are adaptable and suitable to be used, to give a variety and range for different levels of abilities. I have had an opportunity to work with students of all ages that are learning English as a second language while living in Kazakhstan . This unit has shown me how I could have added to and expand on the lessons I used.
