This unit provides an overview of the importance and nuance of the teacher-learner relationship, detailing what makes a good teacher, what roles a teacher must play, what makes a good learner, and how different ages and language levels can impact a student's strengths and weaknesses in the classroom. I feel that from this section I have learned to be attuned to the factors such as culture, age, learning experience, and motivation that will contribute to my students' capacity and willingness to learn English. Additionally, I have learned how to give names to the different roles a teacher must play and how to switch between those roles according to the lesson and my students' needs.
