Unit 5 has given me more insight into managing a class, how to to lay out a class room (ensuring all students feel more comfortable with the rest of the class), how to communicate with students properly (maintaining discipline the right way), giving instructions the correct way to ensure that the student understands the task (so that there is no confusion) and also how to manage group work - making sure that this method is being used correctly in getting all the students involved with the tasks. With a reflection written under each heading in Unit 5, I was able to greatly understand how to put these teaching skills under use, of what to do and what not to do in a class environment.
