This unit has touched on some very important points. Firstly, a teacher wears many \"hats\" in the classroom and being able to perform all of these roles effectively is what makes a good teacher. Especially when dealing with young learners, it is very important to always have a positive attitude in the classroom. Children are very perceptive and they feed off the energy of their teacher. Therefore, if you want your students to have a fulfilling learning experience each day in class, you have to show them that you care about and are interested in what you are doing. Lastly, if you want to develop a good rapport with your students you have to have some level of cultural sensitivity especially when teaching in Asia. You have to know your students in order to be able to motivate them and encourage them to achieve their full potential.
