This section discussed some of the nuts and bolts of what constitutes a lesson. The point was made that all lessons seek to emulate the natural learning process that all students acquired their primary language with. This is an imprecise science. First some general methods of teaching were proposed. There were many, but some examples included the traditional grammar-translation method and audio-linguslism. These were all general suggestions for class structuring. Next elicitation techniques were given with which a teacher might prompt a response from the students. The bulk of this lesson was devoted to describing the engage, study, and activate class structure which this course champions. A myriad of ideas for the content of each of these phases was put forth. Lastly there was a brief covering of suggestions for feedback and correction of student's mistakes. Mostly from this unit I learned of many classroom activities that can be used with students of various levels.
