I thought this unit provided really great tips on activities that would be fun and interesting (and therefore effective) for different age groups. I especially liked the discussion of different ways to incorporate practice with all four language skills from the same kind of activity, i.e. a story or an art/craft activity. Before I began this course, I wasn't sure whether teaching young learners appealed to me at all if I had the opportunity to teach older students, but this course might be changing my mind! There were so many fun ideas in this unit - I love that teaching young learners can involve so many different, creative ways to learn.
