This unit examined the roles of the teacher and the students, listing out what characteristics made a good teacher and good student. For teachers, there are a variety of roles they must take on and it is important to be able to switch between them to be a good and well-rounded teacher. Teachers need to be aware what demographic they are teaching as well, since different age groups of students are at different stages of learning as well having different cultural backgrounds that impact their ways of learning. Therefore, teachers must be able to tailor their content to suit the needs of the learners to create an effective learning experience.
