Previous to this unit, I had not considered how different seating arrangements or groupings may effect the students ability to learn. I had also not considered that the overall atmosphere of the school could have such a profound impact on the ability of the students to effectively pay attention in class. This lessons has helped me think about how teacher neutrality in a classroom is important. It is important to never single out a student and to make sure everyone has the same learning experience in a safe and fair environment. Making sure students are comfortable in the classroom setting with surely help in the students learning experience.
