I have learnt about different techniques and methods on introducing language,vocabulary and structure when teaching English. These are very important skills because in order for a student to learn a new language they have to be taught in the right way so they learn and understand the language.I will definetly use this knowledge in my future teachingIn this Unit i have learnt new ways of teaching vocabulary for example using pictures to elicit the meanings of words. i have also learnt new techniques for encouraging language structures. I know have an understanding of the correct way to introduce new vocabulary to my students.This unit has given me a clearer understanding of language functions.
