Unit 17 increased my knowledge of which teaching aids are generally used within an English classroom and how to properly utilize them to effectively help students learn. There were some quite good tips about writing on a whiteboard, such as not using capital letters as studies have shown capital letters are actually more difficult for students to read.In this unit, we have seen many roles of the teacher and the learner. Even though there are some special considerations when we are teaching adults, we should identify some of the ways our groups may be organized for teaching. I have learned so much about how to address what skills our students want and need. So that should be our priority as teachers.
