I had never given much thought to how to teach writing. This was a good excersise to try and consider different possibilities for encouraging creative writing. In Japan writing skills are better than verbal skills so getting them to write something and then read it may be a good way to increase their confidence and challenge them in heir verbal skills.For this unit we cover first lessons, large classes, reluctant students, and how to handle it all. As with the first day of any job it can be very nerve racking and when you?re standing in front of a bunch of people/students it can be more so. Saying that I am excited to get started with my teaching and employ all what I have learnt from this course.
