I had a similar type experience with this unit as I did with the past tense unit, in that I struggled because I was taught many of these lessons in French and had to almost relearn it for this unit. That being said, it was of tremendous use for me to review it again so that it's fresh in my memory for when my students encounter these types of sentences.This was a great unit in explaining the pros and cons of course books when compared to creative work and exercises. It provided valuable insight to the advantages and disadvantages of both and I now feel that I have a firmer understanding of the type of teacher I will be and I will try to use a good mix of course books and my own material in the future.
