This unit has taught me that receptive skills are equally important as productive skills. It also emphasized again the Engage, Study, Actiate phases and provided me with practice on what activity should go in which phase. This really helps drive the message home. It also went into detail on the different ways of how we listen and read.In this unit I've learnt about grammar, it's not exactly my strong point so I'm glad to be able to relearn the basics, and I'm also glad that as a teacher I'm not expected to be a walking grammar book. Although I have to admit if a student came up to me and had a question about grammar I'd feel pretty embarrassed if my mind went blank.
