In my daily work, teaching of the productive skills such as speaking and listening can be as difficult as it is interesting. Since I mostly work with students one on one, I find the information in this unit useful with respect to the planning of such activities, specifically the section on creative communication and fluency activities.This section helps us to be good planners, and remembering to adjust to the needs if the student. It highlights the need to have a lesson plan that is flexible. It serves as something to refer back to, as well as a record of activity. Also highlighted, was a sample lesson plan, and how to carry out class activities using ESA method.
