This unit is a refresher on the past tense, its usages and examples of activities that can be done to help students better their understanding of this tense. I found the explanation of the uses of the past perfect and past perfect continuous in particular very useful, as they are not tenses that I am comfortable teaching or explaining.Unit 3 provided a very thorough introduction to the teaching techniques and methods. The ESA method is easy to remember, and seems to be a great way to teach English as a foreign language. The activities and suggested ideas at the end of the unit were very helpful in showing me in what ways I can best teach the students in my classes.
