reading and writing are important so that the person can understand the material being said or displayed. once an understanding is achieved the student can then put questions together to ask the interviewee. either when reading or writing, understanding the material or subject is important to understanding what is being read or spoken.It was helpful to know the advantages and disadvantages of using course textbooks. I never really knew I could (1) omit some materials deemed not appropriate (I thought I should teach everything) (2) replace parts of the lessons with more appropriate materials (3) supplement with more materials (4) adapt it to suit the students' needs.
