The overview of unit 6 was to break down in detail the following tenses, Past simple using verbs and irregular verbs, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. Clearly defined details are illustrated for the correct usage of each, common mistakes and advise and samples of good teaching practices and idea's are covered.I learned the history and explanation of the different teaching methods. Also, the three stages of a lesson: Engage, Study and Activate. Plus, the methods of teaching the lessons which are the Straight Arrow, Boomerang and the Patchwork. I learned activities that can be used by the students during the Engage, Study and Activate stages.
