Using different equipment and teaching aids can help with the development of different types of language usage and encoding (speaking, reading, writing and listening). To enhance lesson time, each of these aids should have been tested and set up beforehand. It is always good to have a backup plan if the equipment suddenly stops working.In unit 17 we covered equipment and teaching aids. This unit focused on the many tools an instructor could use in the classroom and how it can be applied to best help the students. It also gave some background on what a teacher might need to do to prepare for the lesson using the different types of technology and aids at their disposal.
