Teaching receptive skills is used by analysing with reading, listening (and dialog?), motivating the students to learn to ask questions and answer them with given information. It practices their understanding of the language. The emphasis is put on making comparison, such as comparing different artists they know of with new information.Another unit that got me thinking about how the students will best learn and grasp material. How important it is to have reading and listening incorporated equally as they are equally important. Having a good idea on the authentic and non authentic depending on a students level and what you want them to get out of it is pointed out well
