This unit talks about how to teach a new language: what to take into account when teaching vocabulary,grammatical structures and language functions. I was not aware of the importance of properly teaching language functions since it is something that was not given much attention as I was learning English.This unit was difficult. It taught me many things about the English language, more than other units, because of its complexity. I feel that students who want to go from their home country to an English speaking country need to understand this material most. Students especially going to America or Canada.
