This unit covers teaching productive skills, speaking and writing which are substantially different in many ways but both used to communicate. It discusses accuracy and fluency activities and where both are used. It covers writing skills and the number of differences that separates it from speaking skills.I learned a lot about the balance between teacher talk time and student talk time and how both contribute to building rapport in the classroom. There were a lot of practical approaches to setting the classroom up for failure, including arrangement of seating and spacing between the student and the teacher.
