Scheduled Events in the Near Future ? The yoga class starts at 5PM. b) Present continuous 1. To talk about an action that is happening at the time of speaking ? My son is playing with his Lego blocks right now. 2. To talk about a temporary action which may not be happening at the time of speaking ? I am learning French. 3. To talk about definite future or planned events ? I?m starting a new fitness plan tomorrow. 4. To talk about a developing or changing situation ? The children are getting better at writing their names. 5. To talk about frequent actions or annoying habits ? The new teacher is always playing games on his computer. c) Present perfect 1.
