This unit focuses on producing and implementing different materials in the classroom. It begins by dividing teaching materials into authentic and non-authentic and describes the various pros and cons to using authentic materials during lessons. Then it moves on to discuss the difficulties and factors to consider when designing one's own non-authentic materials. This is followed by a section about lesson planning, complete with a full, detailed sample lesson plan as well as a blank form available to be used and adapted for any lesson. The unit concludes with short overviews of books and online resources available for teaching Business English.
