Teaching specific groups will bring with them their own set of challenges. Many of these challenges can easily be overcome as long as the teacher approaches the group and their teaching with the necessary adaptations to their teaching style. I found it very interesting that in teaching English to business people it is not necessary to have a complete grasp on that specific industry. In fact it could actually be a benefit in the classroom not to know that much because then the students can teach the teacher about their industry in English. I view this as a way of tricking students into learning and I find this technique to be very effective.
