These tips reminded me of times in my classroom when I was managing behavior and deciding how to create the best seating arrangement. It also made me look at back and think about my dominance in the classroom. I was very dominant in my class and didn't allow students to do much group work till later on. It was easier for me to control the class when I was upfront, but students did not get much time to talk to each other. This unit gave me more ideas about what my role should be and how to cater to all students and not to give a few students too much talk time. Everyone should be able to have their voices heard at some point. I liked this unit.
