It is used for future facts and certainties, promises, predictions, spontaneuos decisions, and threats. The second tense covered, the future continuous tense, involves using \"will\" and an \"ing\" verb. Its usages are to say something is in progress at a future moment, to predict the present, for polite enquiries, and to refer to future events that are fixed or decided. The third tense covered, the future perfect tense, involves \"will have\" and a past participle. The usage for this tense is to say something will have been done or completed by a certain time in the future. The fourth tense covered, the future perfect continuous tense, involves \"will have been\" and an \"ing\" verb. The usage for this tense is to say how long something will continue by a certain time. The fifth future tense, the \"going to\" future, involves \"going to\" and an infinitive. The usages are for intentions, predictions based on evidence, and plans made before speaking. Two other tenses are the present tense used in a future context, and the present continuous used in a future context.
