This unit was a striking example pf the differences between a good and bad lesson. It was easy to see the difference small things such as smiling or learning the students names could have upon the participation of the students. The first lesson even confused and bored me as a native speaker, so I can imagine the effects of such teaching upon other learners.This has greatly reminded me about the usage of present tenses. As a native English speaker this is another thing that is habitual to me, and it is actually quite difficult to properly distinguish. This unit has helped to remember the differences between all the present tenses. This unit has also reminded me why tenses are important in the English language.
