Different classes of students will have different needs, and complexities that need to be addressed by the teacher to teach effectively. Business students, and adults often are highly motivated, whil children are less so. Children are often quicker to pick up a language, but get distracted more easily, and need a varied course structure to keep them on task.In this unit, I learned about the importance of maintaining eye contact, using hand gestures and using voice projection. I also learned the proper times to use students names, the different ways of grouping students and the ways to arrange a classroom. I also learned how to manage a classroom and how to balance teacher talking time with student talking time.
