In the unit on Teaching pronunciation and phonology the first part was about intonation which carries a message in the sentence. There were written patterns of intonation in a statement such as rise/fall and fall/rise. Also, there were mention stress in a sentence, techniques for indicating and teaching stress, phonemic symbols, articulation,articulation and etc.This last lap unit is truly a trouble shooting one. It deals with all kinds of issues many of which arise from the previous units. it is quite informative in many ways. Like all the rest of the units covered, this last unit has brought me to another level in knowing and understanding English language teaching. I have also found out the various challenges involved.
