This unit showed to me very important techniques, methods and the theories that envolves teaching english. Is good to know there are a lot of methods and techniques that can be used in the classes, and can be quite different depending on the level of the students. I think all of these techniques are useful and the lessons are much more interesting and fun with it.This lesson provides an understanding on how the new language can be taught in terms of vocabulary (selection of vocabulary, what students should know about the vocabulary), Grammar and language functions. It also gives clear understanding (with examples) on the application of the Straight Arrow, Boomerang and Patchwork ESA techniques to the lessons in the class.
