Authentic material are real interesting and motivating, students gain confidence and can be geared to the interest of the students. The created materials are designed by the teachers to replace and supplement materials from the course book. The course books are added advantage as well as disadvantage.Teacher should decide what the student should do with the material.This unit was one of the more challenging units for me, as I'm sure it is for other speakers. Defining modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice and being able to distinguish one from another is a challenging topic even for experienced speakers. This is why I am very glad that it was a part of this course; giving me time to refresh before teaching the topic to another.
