Tests are very important. It is how to measure the ability of a learner and at the same time monitor their progress.. Just like with my experience. There are some students who, I knew for sure, eager to learn but their retention is so short. Test is my way to know if they have learned from our past lessons.This unit was easier because I was able to correlate much of the information to the previous unit on present tenses. I learned the differences between past simple, past perfect, past continuous, and past perfect continuous. This section also helped secure the acquired knowledge from Unit 4 on present tenses.
