I learnt how to manage the class in the way to understand how people recognize information to make sure they understand clearly the context of the material. It is important that the person does not have a direct translation understanding but an overall gist of the idea being put across in a cultural context.The section went over the important aspects of reading and listening that an instructor needs to be aware of when teaching. Although the information seemed obvious, I do see a purpose in laying it all out because it could easily be forgotten or looked over when a beginner instructor actually starts to teach.
