This unit has taught me best in detail the structure, rules and usages of the different past tenses. I have also learnt how to better plan activities with past tenses for the activate stage of lessons. This unit taught me also how to identify typical student errors when doing activities with the past tenses.I actually use this material daily but rarely have cause to name the parts of speech. This unit was a nice review of eighth grade honors English. I believe we spent the entire year diagramming sentences in the same way. It is nice to recall reasons for usage, correct names, and finally learn what a gerund is.
