Unit 7, Teaching New Language, is very informative and brings together the material from previous units well. I especially like how ideas for each of the Engage Study Activate method are now being applied to possible teaching scenarios. I also found the sections for teaching vocabulary and introducing grammatical structure quite helpful.In this lesson I learned that both of the receptive skills of reading and listening are equally important. I also learned that the receptive skill listening might be more difficult for a student to manage due to the fact that in reading you can go over the information many times, while in listening you usually only hear it once or twice.
