As with the present tense, the past tenses are complex and require special consideration and attention. Especially as students are likely to have trouble with some of these areas. Lessons must be planned around ironing out problems especially with irregular terms. Past tenses will need to be consistently used on the teachers behalf also.This unit reflected on teaching special groups, such as children, beginners, business English and individuals. It also looks at the difference between teaching a mono- and multilingual class. I feel that these tools are important to bear in mind as scenarios described in the module are likely to arise at some point during my ESL journey.
